The Leigh Rosenberg Earnest Memorial Fund will award a total of $2,250 in scholarships ($1,000 award, $750 award, and a $500).

This exhibition is open to currently enrolled undergraduate college students in Missouri and Kansas under the age of 40. There is no entry fee.

~ Entries must be original work, completed in the last two years and not previously shown in KCAC Galleries.

~ All media is eligible.

~ Students may enter one time only with 1-3 artworks. NO multiple entries.

~ DO NOT submit details or more than one image of the same artwork.

~ 2D work must be framed and wired for installation; works on paper should be framed under Plexiglas.

~ Sculpture must not weigh over 150 lbs.

~ Video artists must provide display equipment for the duration of the exhibition.

Artists whose works are accepted will be notified. Notices will be made via the e-mail you use for your registration; however, we must also have a telephone number where you can be reached on this date.

KCAC reserves the right to reproduce accepted works for publicity, documentation and promotion of the exhibition.

Students should not submit work needed for scholarship or graduate exhibitions.

Works must be hand delivered to Kansas City Artists Coalition during designated drop off times.

Work must be picked up during designated pick up times. If works are not picked up before the end of last pick up date, KCAC will dispose of the work(s) in any way it sees fit without liability or further notice to the artist or lender.

KCAC will take 40% commission on work sold from the exhibition. Price submitted must include KCAC commission and frame, if applicable.

KCAC provides insurance for the exhibition.

The Kansas City Artists Coalition (KCAC) reserves the right in their sole discretion to reject any or all entries and to modify or terminate the selection process for any reason and without prior notice.

Applicant agrees that any and all materials submitted pursuant to this call for entry become the property of the Kansas City Artists Coalition and shall not be returned to Applicant.

KCAC reserves the right to reproduce accepted artworks for the purpose of documentation and publicity on but on limited to www.kansascityartistscoaltion.org, printed announcements for the exhibition, and advertisements.

KCAC is not responsible for works left after the exhibition ends. Artworks are not insured past the designated pick up date. Works left over 30 days become the property of the Kansas City Artists Coalition and will be disposed of at the KCAC’s discretion.

This show is for undergraduate students only. If you have a bachelors degree and art was your major you are not eligible. This is true even if you are going back to school for a second bachelors.on
