MALLIN AND CHARNO GALLERIES – RIVER MARKET REGIONAL EXHIBITION “SOUNDS OF THE CITY”
The theme, “Sounds of the City” was selected to celebrate the 2017 designation of Kansas City as a music city by UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. Artists were invited to interpret the theme; drawing on whatever musical, rhythmic, organic, staccato sound that inspired them.

UNDERGROUND GALLERY – BELGER CRANE YARD STUDIOS strives to bring the best and most relevant ceramic makers from across the nation to Kansas City for its Red Star Residency program. The work of these five emerging-career artists along with Studio Manager Tommy Frank displays the cross-section of processes, techniques and conceptual ideas present in the current ceramic field.
