ARTSKC GALLERY – LORRIE EIGLES
DECEMBER 6, 2019 - FEBRUARY 21, 2020
ARTSKC GALLERY – LORRIE EIGLES thinks about the Jewish term “Tikkun Olam”. In the Jewish faith, it refers to “healing the world”. Her art is one of the ways she is doing her part to heal this broken and confusing world. People who have seen her art tell her how happy they feel, the joy it brings them, how healing it is. Color is powerful, and consciously or unconsciously, the many colors she uses in her art have a strong impact on viewers. Eigles’s intention is that the impact of her color pencil and ink drawings is positive. The curvilinear, and sometimes angular, mark making adds to the multi-layered effect. *Please note this exhibition will take place at ArtsKC Galleries located at 106 Southwest Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64108.
