SNAP SPACE – CHICO SIERRA’s Appropiation Nation uses classic art motifs to express the legitimacy of Indigenous culture and aesthetic as part of the Classical art canon. In re-imagining these ideas Sierra tests people’s ideas of appropriation, it’s nuance and its use in contemporary and pop art.
