The JCPRD Public Art Program is interested in commissioning an artist or artist team to create a site-specific, large scale permanent sculpture or series of sculptures at Big Bull Creek Park, 20425 Sunflower Road, Edgerton, KS 66021. With Kansas City being one of the hosts of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, this installation presents a unique opportunity to reach a broader international audience. The installation of this permanent art is scheduled for May 2026 with World Cup games and special events occurring across the Kansas City region in June/July 2026.
