The World Cup is coming to the Soccer Capital of America™ and more than $10,000 is on the line for one designer whose work will become a lasting symbol of the tournament in Kansas City. Their vision and work will become the official FIFA World Cup 26™ Kansas City poster. Understanding The Assignment:
Create a poster that is an expression of our shared love of sports, but also captures how we work together, celebrate victories and unite as the heart of the nation.
Submit Your Work: Tuesday, October 8-Saturday, October 26 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Open Call for Artists: Talented creators from Kansas or Missouri may enter by submitting a portfolio with three examples of past work and a sketch concept of their poster design, by October 26.
Design Creation: An expert judging panel will evaluate submissions and KC2026 will notify the top five finalists in early November. Each finalist will win $1,000 and will receive the necessary logo, color files and design regulations to complete their designs. Final design submissions are due Friday, November 29, at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Finalist Selection: Our expert panel will review the five finalists' designs, sending their top selections to FIFA for consideration along with their recommended winner, who will be announced in 2025. KC2026 will award the winning artist a $10,000 grand prize!
