    At KCAC, we believe that professional development for artists begins in the studio and encompasses entrepreneurial skills. It is equally important for artists to maintain and build their creative practice, as well as have the know-how to market their artwork.

    Coffee Talk

    KCAC members and community members connect over coffee and conversation on the Second Saturday of each month. During Coffee Talk, you’ll have the opportunity to listen to an artist presentation, ask questions, and learn more about the artists in your community.

    Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists

    Springboard’s Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists is a professional development curriculum designed to teach business skills to artists in all disciplines — visual, performing and literary arts. Artists can take the whole series, customized combinations, or individual workshops that best suit their needs, and the curriculum is available for people interested in leading the workshops and offering professional development resources.

    Artist Studios

    The Acme Studios are communal studio spaces for any artist with a studio practice to create and grow their professional careers. KCAC is able to rent these studio spaces below-market to KCAC members, allowing artists to work in a safe, clean, and dedicated space.
