Teresa’s photography leans towards landscapes, nature, and travel. Since relocating from California to the 30-acre farm she shares with her husband in Lawrence, she spends a good amount of her time photographing the immense beauty of the Midwest.
“There is something spiritual about being one with nature. Just you and a camera to capture what the mind sees. ”
The vastness of the landscape whether in the Kansas Flint Hills or on the Serengeti in Africa is constantly changing. Teresa often returns to the exact same spot time after time and sees something different with each visit. Teresa’s travel has taken her to Hong Kong, India, Thailand, Germany, Italy, France, England, the Caribbean, Austria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Greece, Israel, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and many times to the Hawaiian Islands.
A trip to New Zealand is currently being planned for early 2015. Her digital photo library from her global travels as well as her home state is constantly expanding to share on her website in the very near future. Teresa’s images have appeared in several publications and major news articles such as USA Today, Beauty Store Business, Soft Surroundings and several websites. She is a member of the Kansas Professional Photographer’s Association.
